A HOME FOR A THOUSAND PEOPLE

The programme we are proposing is a home for a thousand people, that is to say, we suggest an alternative way of living, so that a dwelling is shared by its inhabitants with a main objective: exploring more economic, social and environmentally friendly opportunities.


The project consists of an intervention in the Mobile State Park of Madrid based on drilling the pre-existing structure at some points and introducing some devices that embody the domestic activities on a bigger scale, activating the neutral floors. To design these devices we have taken into account the management of the flow of water, food, energy and waste.

Meanwhile, in the metal building, we propose a system based on the repetition of a shared device, dedicated to the productive functions. The plan has not been finalised; it will be the result of future agreements and collective decisions.
